AGAIN AND ...

Once upon a time not so very long ago

There wasn't such a thing as

a rock'n´roll-show.

You had to sit at home and

listen to the radio.

Then came a man with a rockin' guitar

Found himself a beat and he

played it near and far.

Everybody danced and sang and

let the good times roll.

again and again

Why don't you do it -

Why don't you do it again.

Again and again and again...

Travelled round the world in

a rock and roll band

He stood like a giant with a

guitar in his hand.

Everybody danced and sang and

let the good times roll.

Nobody cared about the clothes he would wear -

Nobody cared about the colour of his hair.

Everybody came to see and let

the good times roll.

Again and again

...

Now we've got the rhythm in us

now we've got the rock -

Time didn't matter

never living by the clock.

Everybody came to hear him

play his rock and roll.

Then came a line when the music didn't rhyme.

He couldn't find a rhythm

'cos he couldn't find the time

But still the people came to listen

to the good times roll.

Again and again

Takže je možný, že někdo kroutí hlavou nad tím,

co ten text znamená a proč tu vlastně je.

No, mám prostě rád ten styl,

boogie je dnes už téměř neslýchaná slast.

Taky text mi je hodně blízký.

Je o věcech, který jsou nesmrtelný,

přestože o nich v televizi a rádiu

vlastně stejně jako za totáče říkají,

že už dávno umřely.

Snad jen s tím rozdílem,

že kdysi to bylo na pokyn pánů v oblecích,

kteří si říkali politici,

a dnes je to na pokyn pánů v oblecích,

kteří si říkají obchodníci.

Ale ať jedni nebo druzí říkali

a říkají cokoliv, hard rock je pořád tady

a co víc, je jasné, že nezemře nikdy,

prostě tu bude pořád, vždy se objeví znova a znova,

Again and again

No a taky to ale znamená,

že zítra a pak každý další den

jdu ZASE do práce.....
