MARLOW DRIVE

These men are from Chatanooga in Tennesse. Their music is very very interesting and full of energy. It is blues music of course, but attentive listener can feel several different ingredients in music - hard rock, southern rock, country, soul...

The band started in 2004 under the name  "17th SUN". They toured heavily from 2007 to 2010 emerging as one of the top unsigned acts in the greater Southeast area and has rocked shows all over Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia and Florida.... They performed live with a plethora of acts including: Sevendust, Nonpoint, The Exies, Adema, Sponge, Audioslave, Double Drive, Injected, Cold and Sunset Black....

But lead singer left the band in 2010 and the remaining members separated for 16 months. Chip Ables contacted all of them in 2011 and made them play together again. "MARLOW DRIVE" was up and running. It was July 2011, they has a few practices and booked their first gig under the name Marlow drive. They worked on their new found sound and gigged around the area, mostly on festivals... In February 2012 they recorded their first EP under the name Marlow Drive (older album "Stand" is still selling today).
