WHO IS "SEKSHUN 8"?

Sekshun 8 was born five years ago when four lifelong friends got together to jam. After realizing they were more than just a garage band, they decided to get serious and explore the local scene. Along the way they had several brushes with legends in the industry: Alice Cooper and Kiss producer Bob Ezrin, vocal coach and ex-wife of Mutt Lange, Stevie Vann Lange, and former drummer of the Doobie Brothers, Chet McCracken.

The stage show of Sekshun 8 cannot easily be described in words. It's a sensory overload of lights, smoke, a bound madman and enough energy to leave the guys and their fans breathless.
The performances on the Black Wing Butterfly CD are strong with leading vocals by front man star, Jason Tippins, impressive rhythm section lead guitarist James Sadler, bassist Eric Briggs, the on fire lead guitar work of Jimmy Muhlenbruch. Both Muhlenbruch and Sadler give off heavy riffs and infectious sounds while Jeff Tippins plays his drum kit with power, convict ion and as evidenced is his awesome control throughout the entire CD. Additional backing vocals were sung by producer, Stevie Lange along with Buggst Pearce. And additional guitar work was done Simon Cookson and additional drum work was done by Doobie Brothers drumming legend, Chet McCracken.

POST SCRIPTUM:
I can not help myself. I fell in love with them and their music. I feel deep blues and hard rock inspiration in their music and a little influence of seventies Alice Cooper´s hits, bands Crash Test Dummies, Ugly Kid Joe and Sacha Stone. Simply it´s really great, they shoot me right to the heart. Maybe my arcticle is not exact or actual, but music is wonderful.
