ROBIN TROWER

ROBIN TROWER

Robin Leonard Trower is an English rock guitarist and vocalist who achieved success with Procol Harum during the 1960s. Trower  joined Brooker band Procol Harum following the success of their debut single "A Whiter Shade of Pale" in 1967, remaining with them until 1971 and appearing on Procol Harum's first five albums.

And then he became the bandleader of his own power trio. Trower retained James Dewar as his bassist, who took on lead vocals as well, and recruited drummer Reg Isidore (later replaced by Bill Lordan) to form the Robin Trower Band in 1973. Then the golden times and golden albums has come... 1973 Twice Removed from Yesterday, 1974 Bridge of Sighs, 1975 For Earth Below, 1976 Long Misty Days, 1977 In City Dreams.

And then he teamed up with many popular musicians to play great music, Here are some of them  Jack Bruce, Sting, Bryan Ferry, Ian Crichton, Dave Sharman, Jan Akkerman and many others.

THROUG MY EYES AND EARS:
There is no hesitation, the collaboration with the greatest  worldwide known  musician is a serious thing. But I think, that most interesting part of Robin Trower´s  music is bluesy fuelled  guitar playing and it means, that many of his bluesy songs I absolutely adore - for example songs on double CD Dreaming the blues (and many others:-).
