Vitne Eveillé, known mononomously as VITNE is an American rock musician Joseph Kimbrell based in Oslo, Norway. While in Norway he fronted the Norwegian hair metal band SEKS in 2010. The band gained an eager following for the throwback music but lost its steam as members changed and broke up in 2012. This paved the way for Vitne to begin his solo career with the music that means so much to him.Inspired by artists such as Billy Idol, Mötley Crüe and Japanese artists X Japan and GACKT, Vitne's musical style reflects that of glam metal and gothic rock. In 2013 Vitne embarked on a solo career and his singles Destroyer and Not Far From Shallow Water both won “Best Music Video” awards by the Akademia Awards in August and September, respectively. He works closely with guitarist Julian Angel of the band Beautiful Beast.
The name of VITNE's debut full-length record is „Neon“. The debut contains all original songs including the singles Destroyer, Silhouette, Nasty Habit, and Rest in Peace. The album was released on December 3, 2013.
